Hi, imagine you visited your grandma and accidentally left your beloved lenovo laptop the one and only thinkpad you ever own. What would become of your thinkpad laptop? Are you imagining the worse case scenario? Watch the commercial ad from Lenovo. Were you thinking the same thing?

Well, actually I was impressed with Panasonic Toughbook laptop models. I was working as a computer technician, and I have worked or fixed on some of these Toughbooks. In Malaysia, beside the army, Jupem(Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia) were bringing along these kind of laptop when they go into the wild to map uncharted places in Malaysia. Toughbook was the advance durable and reliable laptop anyone can afford for traveling. Lenovo is melting the perception away by coming up with normal-old-school looking thinkpad laptop which are waterproof, durable and reliable.

About Lenovo Thinkpad Waterproof Keyboard

I wrote an article about a Lenovo Thinkpad T410i laptop once, but I did not include in the article about the capability on waterproof keyboard of the new Lenovo laptops. These laptops are waterproof when water are spilled over the keyboard because the keyboard design now have a drainage system. Spilled water will be drained through the side and bottom of the thinkpad. Therefor you won’t be needing a silicon keyboard protector for your Thinkpad laptop. I will add more on this issue, perhap some images of the waterproof Lenovo keyboard water drainage system. Until then, don’t leave your precious lenovo laptop to your grandma. )
