Event : Google Day 2010 Malaysia at FCM MMU

As’salam all. I was Blogwalking at noon July 3rd and came across Nazri://Mysight blog about a Google Day Event 2010 in Malaysia. The venue for this particular Google Day 2010 Malaysia will be held at Faculty of Creative Multimedia Atrium , MMU, 63100 Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It will be a 3 days event starting at 14th till 16th July 2010.

The main objective of this event is to gather at least 500+ participants of native Malaysian for a Google Project. Google needs to collect voice samples from Malaysia to help enhance their Voice Recognition System to better recognize Malaysian pronounce words. Participants will be ask to record their voice samples in 2 different sessions/environments, which are indoor and outdoor recording. A Free Google T-Shirt is up for grabs for all participants after their finish recording sessions. I am participating in this Google Day 2010 Malaysia Event at MMU. There will also be other programs to be held during the 3 days event.

You can also attend lectures from Google and MMU personals. The lectures will be held at the FCM E-theatre. These are some of the topics which will be covered within 3 days.
