Private browsing
Start private browsing
This feature is quite useful if you don’t want any trace of you browsing a web page. During a Private Browsing session, Firefox won’t keep any browser history, search history, download history, web form history, cookies, or temporary internet files. However, files you download and bookmarks you make will be kept. This feature is a great way to secure your browsing if u are doing an online banking or when you are browsing on a shared computer or checking emails from an Internet Café.
You can change your browsing session into Private Browsing by clicking on Tools > Start Private Browsing in Firefox 3.6. You can also use a keyboard short-cut to activate the Private Browsing session too. Press CTRL+Shift+P. In order to deactivate Private Browsing. Go to Tools> Stop Private Browsing or press CTRL+Shift+P again.
